Are you ready to take the next step in your career with a company that values passion, teamwork, and customer excellence? Were offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Sales Assistant on a 24 - 30 hour contract in Dunfermline at Baldridgeburn.
Responsibilities
* Take the lead in shop routines, ensuring trade runs smoothly from open to close.
* Run shifts confidently, and delegate tasks clearly and fairly.
* Support your Shop or Assistant Manager in running the shop when on shift with them.
* Step in to problem-solve small issues during the shift and flag bigger ones to the management as needed.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy environment for both customers and the team.
* Actively serve customers alongside the team and model excellent customer service.
* Encourage the team to take pride in their work.
* Make sure the shop is always welcoming, clean, and well-stocked with fresh, high-quality product.
* Monitor presentation standards throughout the day and take action to keep them high.
* Carry out daily checks and paperwork to keep the shop compliant and safe.
* Manage opening and closing duties, till processes, and cash handling. Support ordering, stock rotation, and waste control.
* Be a reliable and encouraging presence on shift, helping others stay on task and work well together.
* Offer guidance to newer team members and help develop the team.
* Keep communication clear and respectful, and raise any concerns to your manager when needed.
