Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Sheffield.

As a vital part of our hospitality organisation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences through high-quality food and beverage service.

2. Provide a warm and personalised welcome to all guests, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
3. Lead, develop, and support a team of service specialists in daily hotel operations.
4. Maintain high standards of service, contributing to the attainment of the department's qualitative and quantitative targets.
5. Assist the F&B Manager to implement hotel strategy and reach KPI's.
6. Develop close relationships with guests to encourage loyalty and enhance guest satisfaction
7. Assist in the preparation and service of food and beverages, ensuring presentation and quality meet our exacting standards
8. Collaborate with kitchen staff to understand menu items and communicate special dietary requirements
9. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
10. Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
11. Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and concerns
12. Contribute to the overall success of the team by supporting colleagues and adapting to operational demands.

Qualifications
13. Passion for hospitality and food and beverage service
14. Previous experience in a similar food and beverage role is preferred
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
16. Strong team player with a collaborative approach
17. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and presentation
18. Flexible and adaptable, willing to meet the demands of a dynamic hospitality environment
19. Basic knowledge of food safety practices
20. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
21. Customer service-oriented with a friendly and enthusiastic demeanour
22. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry moderate loads
23. Basic numeracy skills for handling financial transactions
24. Willingness to learn and grow within the organisation
