Senior Quantity Surveyor – M&E / Heat Networks
Location: Epsom
Salary: Up to £80,000 package
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and rapidly growing heat networks provider based in Epsom. This is a key commercial role within an expanding business delivering complex, M&E-led energy and heat network projects across the UK.
The successful candidate will support operational projects from a commercial perspective, working closely with project and operations teams to ensure costs are controlled, budgets are managed effectively, and projects are delivered within financial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing cost control and budgets across multiple operational projects
2. Preparing valuations, cost reports, and financial forecasts
3. Monitoring project performance and reporting on commercial progress
4. Working closely with project and operations teams to drive efficiency
5. Identifying cost risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
6. Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting successful project delivery
7. Providing commercial guidance and mentoring where required
About You:
8. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
9. Strong background in M&E, energy, utilities, or engineering-led projects
10. Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail
11. Commercially astute with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
12. Confident communicator able to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
13. Experience in fast-paced or growing organisations is advantageous
