Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
* Handle food preparation and food handling tasks in accordance with food safety standards
* Operate POS systems such as vita efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing
* Provide friendly, attentive customer service to ensure a positive café experience for all guests
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas
* Manage cash register operations, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for transactions
* Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
Requirements
* Proven experience as a barista or in the food service industry, with strong coffee-making skills preferred
* Familiarity with POS systems such as Vita is highly desirable
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
* Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards
* Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
* Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
* Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment
* Previous experience as a barista in a café settings is essential; with at least 1 years experience would an advantage.
