We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our Operations Team!
About the role:
Joining us as a Supply Chain Manager, you’ll support delivery teams, assessing resource requirements and supporting the management of day-to-day activities. You’ll ensure that all team objectives are met within overall time, cost, and budget constraints. You’ll drive excellent service standards, influence profitability, manage basic budgets, and oversee Health, Safety & Environmental compliance, while maintaining exceptional customer relationships.
About You:
Candidates should be able to work independently or as part of a team and have proven experience in a similar role. You’ll possess excellent leadership skills, motivating, supporting, and mentoring teams to deliver excellent services to our customers.
Key attributes to this role include:
1. Sourcing subcontractors
2. Supporting onboarding, including cost negotiations and inductions
3. Providing subcontractors portal training and support
4. Developing the portal for subcontractors
5. Managing subcontractor compliance
6. Coordinating subcontractor communications
7. Setting up and maintaining supply chain partners (SCP) data on the system, including training, certification, and performance reviews
8. Supporting operations with SCP WIP reduction
9. Scheduling and facilitating performance reviews, with operational managers leading
10. Facilitating SCP toolbox talks and information updates
11. Supporting/meeting with subcontractors and operational or commercial teams regarding issues such as complaints or commercial aspects
12. Serving as point of contact for SCP escalations, acting as voice for SCPs and Operations when required
13. Developing relationships with key suppliers and ensuring the timely provision of goods and services
14. Having good project management skills
15. Possessing good interpersonal skills
16. Having good IT skills and the ability to use IT systems
You must hold a valid full or automatic UK driving licence for at least 12 months, as a company vehicle will be provided. A flexible approach is required as travel to sites around the area will be necessary.
