Our estate team play a key role in ensuring we have the equipment and facilities we need to do this successfully. They provide invaluable operational support – enabling us to remain a proven national asset.
As Construction Assurance Lead, you'll support our Operations Division in delivering impactful science and technology. The division aims to be the trusted delivery partner for the UK's defence and security science and technology needs.
In this role, you’ll ensure that projects are compliant to Dstl’s requirements and design and construction standards.
Responsibilities
With your experience working on complex infrastructure projects, you’ll ensure all construction is delivered on time, to budget and complies with regulations.
As a highly motivated critical thinker, you’ll solve problems as they arise.
This, combined with your extensive knowledge of processes and regulations, means you’ll be a key factor in the production of innovative science and technology solutions.
You’ll also produce reports on project progress, and review proposed changes to the client's requirements so that they remain in line with change control processes.
From health and safety to legalities, you’ll enable specialist work to go ahead at the highest standard of compliance.
So, you’ll have a real eye for detail and be fully conversant in CDM regulations.
Qualifications
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of cutting‑edge science and technology construction projects. To join, an MSc, Degree or HND level in construction or civil engineering is essential. You’ll also need to be NEC Supervisor accredited.
