Grade 4 SCP 13-17 = £29,064 - £31,022 per annum pro rata
31.5 Hours = 85.13% = £24,742 - £26,409 per annum
Responsibilities
* Provide a safe and secure environment in which children and young people live in a residential care setting.
* Support children and young people to reach their full potential by offering opportunities to thrive, including emotional and social support.
* Manage challenging behaviour and develop an understanding of early childhood trauma and its impact on the young people in our care.
* Work as part of a staff team to support day-to-day care of children in all aspects of their lives: daily routines, education attendance, activities, hobbies and community involvement.
* Undertake domestic and household tasks, attend appointments, and maintain contact with family and friends.
* Work on a 24-hour basis with some sleep-in shifts on a rota basis to support this role.
Qualifications
* You will be required to provide evidence of all qualifications specified as essential.
* Ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
