We are seeking an experienced and passionate Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) to join a thriving primary school in Southwark. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact, supporting pupils with a wide range of needs and ensuring every child has the chance to succeed.
About the Role
Lead the strategic development of SEND provision across the school.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with teachers, support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure high-quality support for pupils.
* Coordinate and oversee EHCP processes, interventions, and individual support plans.
* Deliver staff training to promote best practice in inclusive teaching and learning.
* Monitor, evaluate, and report on SEND provision and progress.
Qualifications
* NASENCo qualification (or be working towards it).
Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice.
* Proven experience supporting pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Speech & Language difficulties.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Pay range and compensation package
Salary: £220 - £300 per day
