About Lifestyles Residential Services We provide safe, stable, and nurturing homes for young people who have experienced trauma, disruption, or loss. Our staff teams dont just complete shifts they create safety, structure, and positive experiences every day. Our Dungiven home supports up to three young people aged 1217 and offers a therapeutic, relational environment grounded in trauma-informed practice. The Role (6-Month Maternity Cover) Youll join our dedicated team to provide consistent, high-quality care and therapeutic support to our young people. This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months, covering maternity leave, with the possibility of extension depending on service needs. What Youll Be Doing Building safe, trusted relationships with young people, offering consistency and stability Supporting emotional regulation and trauma recovery through routines, boundaries, and co-regulation Applying trauma-informed knowledge including attachment, ACEs, and therapeutic approaches Being an active member of the team, contributing to care planning and daily decision-making Responding calmly and compassionately during crisis situations Working collaboratively with families, social workers, and our MDT Recording observations, interventions and progress clearly and accurately, in line with safeguarding and regulatory standards What Youll Need Essential Level 3 qualification (Health & Social Care, Youth Work, or equivalent) Minimum 1 year experience supporting looked-after children or working in residential childcare NISCC registration (or ability to register before starting) Full UK driving licence Desirable Trauma-informed or therapeutic care training Degree in Social Work, Youth Work, Psychology or a related field Experience leading shifts Previous residential childcare experience Terms & Conditions Salary: £26,500£32,000 (DOE & qualifications) Contract: 6-month fixed-term maternity cover Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week (rotational shifts incl. night duty) Location: Dungiven Start date: As soon as possible Benefits Full induction & training Reflective practice Ongoing CPD Company pension Private Health Care Scheme Free on-site parking Interested?
