Job Description
St Philip’s Catholic Primary School is looking to appoint two Individual Needs Assistants to support children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is a fixed‑term role until July 2027, with a closing date of Friday 19 June 2026. Each position will work part‑time for the term, with 39 weeks of school and 6.05 weeks of annual leave (increasing after 5 years of continuous service) and pay on a pro‑rata basis.
Responsibilities
* 21.25 hours per week supporting a KS1 child
* 22.25 hours per week supporting a KS2 child
* Act as a Midday Supervisor (MDSA) overseeing children during lunch hour
Requirements and Qualifications
* Enthusiastic, patient, and nurturing attitude
* Excellent communication skills and ability to support positive behaviour
* Works well as part of a supportive team
* Passionate about inclusive education and helping every child succeed
* Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is an advantage
