Quality Inspector
* Day shift position with an early Friday finish!
* Responsible for first off, stage, and final inspection of a range of bespoke precision components.
* Overtime readily available.
Salary: c£17.00 per hour. Days only role.
We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join an established manufacturer that make special purpose components used within a range of sectors. Training can be provided in certain areas for the right person. We do need someone from a Mechanical / Precision Engineering Inspection background due to the nature of components manufactured within the business.
Quality Inspector Activities & Responsibilities:
* Perform visual, dimensional inspection of machined parts to drawings and specifications.
* Inspections to be carried out using manual equipment such as Vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, screw ring and plug gauge, height gauges, projector etc.
* CMM experience would be a bonus, but not essential.
* Carry out first off, stage, and final inspection.
* Maintain inspection documents.
Required Skills & Experience as Quality Inspector:
* Proven quality Inspection experience within an engineering environment.
* Understanding of GD+T and the ability to read and understand drawings
* A formal engineering qualification/apprentice trained would be an advantage.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Competent using Excel and word.
