Dalton Metal Recycling are looking at hiring a Weighbridge Operator based at our site in Rosyth Dock Yard. The person must be fit and able manually move materials and assist public customers on the small weighing platform. Forklift licence is required for this role.
Main duties:
* Greeting and meeting all customers and visitors
* Managing all vehicles entering and exiting the yard by weighing their load and input all data accurately on our weighbridge FRED software.
* Providing all appropriate paperwork and carry out the necessary admin work to complete the process.
* Producing weighbridge tickets, advice notes and self bills.
* Liaising with customers, acting as first point of contact for a customer to resolve any issues/problems.
* Liaise with other colleagues within the yard and keep a steady flow of traffic moving.
The ideal candidate should have the following:
* They must be computer literate
* Proficient with Microsoft Office package.
* Have good customer service skills.
* A good phone manner.
* A good learner, the willingness to be trained with new software.
* Ability to work within a team.
Working Week -
* Monday - Friday 07:00 - 17:00
* Saturday 07:00-12:00
