The purpose of this role is to support the Global Technical Department with key activities supporting workflow and manufacturing process optimisation. By facilitating effective communication this role aims to coordinate the R&D and improvement activities that enhance manufacturing efficiency and in alignment with strategic objectives, ultimately support successful technical improvement projects delivered within the Harrier/DPI framework. The role requires close alignment and collaboration with the wider Harrier and DPI operations teams to support the business in delivering change to manufacturing quality and production efficiencies, improving customer experience. Key responsibilities & task s Project Identification: Support the creation of investment business cases by undertaking appropriate benefits analysis to help the Head of Equipment Efficiency & Projects and Steering Group prioritise requests appropriately. Project Administration: Ensure that R&D technical projects are documented, reported and sustained in line with established business processes. Ensuring all supporting information is collected to support investment applications. Administer the global investment approval and asset disposal processes, overseeing progress and providing stakeholder communication updates as needed. Data Analysis: Collects, analyses, and interprets project data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement. Develop reports that provide insights into project performance and help stakeholders make informed decisions. Communication: Communicates R&D project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, including project sponsors, senior management, and project team members. Ensure that all stakeholders are informed and aligned on project goals and progress. Problem-solving: Identifies and resolves issues that arise during the R&D project lifecycle. They work collaboratively with the global technical team to develop creative solutions to problems and ensure that projects stay on track. Stakeholder Management: works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations. Ensuring that stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the technical project lifecycle.
