Little St John’s Surgery are looking for a part-time receptionist to join our team in Woodbridge. You will need to be flexible, highly motivated and friendly with an excellent eye for detail. The post is offered on a part-time basis for 16.15 hours per week and you will be working the following days and hours; Tuesday: 7.45am to 1pm Wednesday: 8am - 1pm Thursday: 1pm - 7pm You will also be asked to cover occasional Saturday mornings, holidays and sickness as required. Working in a busy environment, the duties of the role will include; Handle all telephone and general enquiries in a professional manner, referring callers to appropriate healthcare professional. Make appointments for patients in accordance with practice protocols. Ensure that messages and requests for visits are recorded. Process all post and electronic communications on the day they arrive. Manage the uploading and downloading of temporary resident forms. Manage the waiting list for 24 hour blood pressure monitoring and 24 hour ECGs. General filing, photocopying as required.
