We are looking to appoint a Speciality Doctor to provide ad hoc or routine clinical sessional cover in our Oral Surgery team. This post will be for a fixed term of 1 year. We are a busy Oral Surgery department, covering Northumberland and North Tyneside.
The postholder will be expected to carry out face to face assessments, and a range of oral surgery treatments, both under local anaesthetic and general anaesthetic.
We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, covering one of the largest geographical areas of any NHS trust in the country.
