As a successful critical environment Electrical Engineer

4. Management of the ongoing critical environment maintenance support for all service lines to pre-defined SLAs. This is to ensure service uptime is maintained to the highest standards and that faults are dealt with in timely manner.
5. Management of incidents that impact OCI services and the proactive and timely resolution of such incidents.
6. Work with design, construction, and commissioning teams to properly integrate the new electrical distribution systems to existing data center
7. Support and validate on-site datacenters operations in relation to the electrical infrastructure.
8. Be an electrical SME for on-site operations related to mission critical electrical system, operations, and functionality.
9. Act as the technical authority for on-site operations related to a large-scale mission critical electrical system, design, and functionality.
10. Empower operational optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives
Qualifications
11. BS Electrical, Industrial or Process Engineering
12. 7+ years of experience in defining, designing, and operating data center critical infrastructure
13. Demonstrated record of innovation and influence with the data center space
14. Demonstrated record of successful process definition and systems architecture
15. Demonstrated record of successful infrastructure roadmap planning
16. Deep understanding of data center electrical systems architecture
Although NOT required, OCI is also looking for the following preferred qualifications
17. Strong experience with the operation and maintenance of building electrical systems. (electrical distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, security, life safety, and controls systems)
18. Established understanding of electrical theory and practical application via maintenance and operation of critical electrical equipment (paralleling switchgear, redundant UPS systems, DC battery strings, multi-source electrical utility switchgear, standby diesel generators,
19. Strong understanding of distributed and block redundant electrical distribution architecture
20. Knowledge of construction techniques, terminology, and documentation (ability to interpret blueprints, electrical SLDs, mechanical SLDs and construction drawings)
21. Practical experience with building management systems and automation, controls, and frameworks
