Shift patterns: Monday to Friday (06:00 – 16:00 x 4 days and 06:00 – 14:00 x 1 day)

We're now looking for an experienced Shunter Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* Moving Vehicles around the yard.
* Loading and unloading trailers
* Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
* Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
* Regular completion of vehicle checks
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
*
o Hold a valid Cat B Driving Licence MINIMUM (Essential)
* Have a minimum of 12 months recent Shunting experience (ESSENTIAL)
* Manual Handling experience, as you will be required to open and close trailer curtains (ESSENTIAL)
* RTITB/ITSSAR/AITT Reach and Counterbalance experience desirable
* HGV Training would be a distinct advantage
