Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engineering support to customers for planned and unplanned maintenance requirements.
* Plan and execute routine work.
* Ensure all documentation is completed accurately, timely, and signed by relevant personnel.
* Ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
* Support organisational change, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Demonstrate engineering competency to carry out PPM activities and possess some specialist knowledge.
* Complete engineering activities across various equipment in manufacturing areas.
* Provide coaching and training to peers and manufacturing personnel.
* Promote a cGMP compliant culture, maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety in accordance with regulations.
* Execute departmental objectives and operational decisions promptly.
* Collaborate with department members for support and feedback.
* Promote safety culture, report and investigate near misses and accidents.
* Attend and complete required training, keeping records up to date.
* Work flexibly during idle periods, maintenance shutdowns, or non-production periods, including shift pattern adjustments.
* Maintain well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
* Work under pressure with a positive, proactive approach.
* Collaborate across functions effectively.
* Maintain high standards of numeracy and literacy with attention to detail.
* Apply operational excellence skills and experience in OE systems.
* Hold an Engineering Apprenticeship, preferably with HNC/D or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
* Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
Minimum Experience Requirements
* Likely a graduate or demonstrate academic potential at this level.
* At least 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, food, or chemical manufacturing industries.
