Job Description:
This is an opportunity for a UX Designer with live SC Clearance to make an impact at a leading digital consultancy, specialising in Cloud & Digital Transformations across a huge variety of sectors including utilities, telecoms, energy, and public sector. You will champion inclusive design practices throughout project lifecycles, ensuring solutions are accessible to as many users as possible. This includes engaging with diverse user research, applying accessibility guidelines and legislation, and advocating for inclusive design principles in your deliverables.
Remote working with occasional visit to clients in London, Manchester, or Glasgow.
Requirements:
* Live/Active SC Clearance is a MUST for this role
* Experience working with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards, using GDS design principles
* Experience working with relevant accessibility standards and legislation, such as the Web Content Accessibility Regulations (WCAG)
* Experience using a range of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Invision Studio, Axure etc.
* Proven ability to create high-quality, compelling design concepts and artefacts such as personas, service maps and wireframes.
* Experienced in rapid paper and digital prototyping.
* Ability to analyse code for accessibility issues in HTML and CSS
It would be ideal if you also have:
* Certifications in accessibility (CPACC, WAS, CPWA) or working towards
* Experience testing and auditing assistive technology (JAWS, Dragon, ZoomText) and accessibility features for Windows and macOS
