Electrical Estimator

We are working with a well-established, growing M&E contractor who deliver high-quality electrical and mechanical packages across commercial fit out, refurbishment and mixed-use projects. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their close-knit team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, agile contractor where your input genuinely makes a difference and you will have direct exposure to directors and decision-makers.
The Role:
*
Preparing detailed electrical estimates for projects ranging from £200k – £2m
*
Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
*
Producing take-offs and pricing schedules
*
Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
*
Value engineering and identifying cost-saving opportunities
*
Liaising with clients, consultants and internal delivery teams
*
Supporting handover to project teams upon successful award
The Ideal Candidate:
*
Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within an M&E contractor
*
Strong knowledge of commercial fit out and refurbishment projects
*
Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
*
Good commercial awareness and understanding of market rates
*
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
*
Experience with estimating software packages (e.g. Trimble, Amtech, Ensign or similar)
