Domus are looking for a Deputy Manager located in Wellingborough to lead a dedicated staff team within a Supported living service for adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
Reporting into the Registered Manager, your team will support residents in your care to achieve their goals in life and will actively seek out opportunities for them to develop their skills and confidence through a variety of staff involvement, activities and other initiatives.
We’re looking for someone with proven leadership skills and hands-on experience within the Health and Social Care sector, ideally experienced supporting adults with Learning Disabilities.
Deputy Manager responsibilities:
Ensure the team provides safe, sound & supportive care to the people they support.
Be a role model to your team & provide effective leadership & management.
Work with multi-disciplinary teams, family members, local authorities & regulatory bodies to deliver a high-quality service & promote a positive culture.
Meet quality targets to ensure the service is providing the best support & care possible.
The ideal candidate will have:
NVQ L3 in Health and Social Care.
A talented leader with strong line management & communication skills.
Experienced within supported living setting and working with adults with Learning disabilities under the CQC framework.
An effective people, time & task manager with a proven track record of working with varied. stakeholders in the delivery of outstanding care.
