Maintenance Plumber Location: HMP Stocken, near Oakham, Rutland Contract: Permanent, full time Salary: £30,866 – £36,135 per year (depending on experience) Additional pay: 15% weekend allowance We are looking for a Maintenance Plumber to join our on‑site facilities team at HMP Stocken. This is a secure, single‑site role on a long‑term contract, offering regular hours, job stability and no domestic call‑outs or travelling between sites. What you’ll be doing You will carry out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance to help keep the site safe and fully operational. Tasks include: General plumbing repairs and maintenance Working on mains water systems Fault finding and fixing issues Basic inspections, water sampling and risk checks Reporting equipment that needs repair or replacement You will work as part of a supportive on‑site team. Tools, materials, induction and training are provided, and escorting support is available where required. What we’re looking for NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent) Experience in plumbing maintenance Full UK driving licence Able to work safely in a commercial or industrial environment Legionella awareness is helpful but not essential – training can be provided.
