Nursery Room Leader
Due to the expansion of our nursery and our brand new baby lodge, we are excited to be recruiting for a childcare superstar to join our team and be one of our new Room Leaders at our beautiful setting based in the heart of Gornalwood.
Salary: £13 per hour - We pay above the average salary for a room leader
About the Nursery Room Leader role:
* Hours: Full time - Monday - Friday, variable hours between 7.15am - 6.15pm (Minimum 37 hours per week)
* Contract type: Permanent - all year round
* Salary: up to £13 per hour
* Location: Early Steps Nursery, Gornalwood
Roles and Responsibilities for the Nursery Room Leader:
* Key worker responsibilities includes planning, observations, report writing and working with the EYFS framework
* Oversee teams learning journals and observations for proofing
* We pride ourselves on giving our parents and families the best experience- you will be trained how to deliver elite level customer service for our nursery
* The Nursery Room Leader will work closely with their team of practitioners to motivate, lead and inspire them

Requirements of the Nursery Room Leader role:
* Must hold a minimum full and relevant level 3 childcare qualification
* Have exceptional understanding of safeguarding
* Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
* Good computer skills and literacy skills are essential to this role
