The unit runs clinics from 8:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday. Management element for nursing and CSW staff. Main duties Complex catheterisations SPC and urethral catheter change Urethral catheter insertions Flow rate clinics Teaching ISC Working along side specialist consultants Clinical preparation and assisting with procedures Staff management Clinic management Stock ordering and monitor Running specialist clinics monitoring and planning immuno-therapy and chemotherapy regimes Essential person specification requirements Registered Adult/General nurse with active NMC registrations First level (Honours) degree or willing to undertake Good back ground experience in Urology Evidence of continued professional development post registration experience at band 5 in Urology Multi-professional working Teaching/ training Working autonomously Insight into role Awareness of own limitations.
