The position of Criminology, Psychology, and Public Services offers a dynamic and impactful opportunity for those passionate about teaching and committed to student success. As a Lecturer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journeys of our students, helping them achieve their full potential regardless of their background.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team in delivering applied general BTEC and WJEC courses in Criminology, Psychology, and Public Services. The role involves developing and delivering engaging curriculum content, assessing student work, and providing constructive feedback to support academic progress. You will also be responsible for offering personalised guidance and support through one-to-one progress monitoring, addressing the diverse needs of students to ensure they succeed.
Ideal candidates will possess a degree in Law, Criminology, or a related field, and either hold or be willing to work towards a recognised teaching qualification. We value empathy and a student-centred approach, prioritising the educational experience of every learner. A passion for Public Services, including Law & Criminology, is essential, as is the willingness to actively contribute to enrichment activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and overnight residentials.
