Our story starts in France in the 1980s, when we created the first ever quick-frozen part-baked baguette. Since then, Délifrance has never stopped developing bakery, patisserie and savoury products for foodservice providers, retailers and bakers.
We are looking for a Quality System Coordinator to join us at our Southall (UB2 4SB) site in West London.
Main responsibilities:
* Manage the labelling database system across all units at Delifrance Southall
* To manage the site laboratory testing schedule and testing
* To carry out traceability and mass balances exercises as and when needed
* To carry out raw material and supplier approvals/ monitoring/appraisals & audits
* To co-ordinate / carry out raw material sampling and micro surveillance
* To attend supplier and raw material meetings as needed
* To establish, manage and authorize specifications of ingredients, packaging and finished products utilizing the Academie expertise where relevant.
* To manage the internal audit system and assist with external audits.
* To carry out allergen risk assessments, allergen validation, allergen verification and maintain relevant documentation.
* Review technical KPI trends in conjunction with site quality manager and implement corrective action plan.
Required skills and competencies:
* Min 3 years' experience in food manufacturing/bakery - essential
* Good IT Skills and ability to use, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Food Safety Level 3
* Good understanding of ISO 22000 / BRC standards
* Bachelor's in food science and technology – Preferable
* Effective communication skill both verbal, written
