This role will be based at Phoenix Park Care Village, in the heart of Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire. The Care Village has been specially designed to cater to the needs of 146 residents across three buildings. Our residents typically live with age-related health conditions, physical disabilities, and mental health conditions that require dignified support from our caring team. Many residents also live with Dementia and may need one-to-one personal support to maintain their independence. Candidates must be patient, understanding, and respectful of our residents' individual abilities.

Responsibilities of our Senior Support Worker include:
1. Leading, managing, and supporting your care team to ensure high-quality care
2. Regularly reviewing and updating care plans, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
3. Engaging with residents respectfully, valuing their individuality and communication differences
4. Administering and accurately recording medication as prescribed
5. Preserving and promoting residents’ dignity and independence
6. Encouraging residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life
7. Supporting residents in discussions about their daily living arrangements
8. Assisting with personal care when necessary
What we’re looking for in our Senior Support Worker:
To succeed in this role, you should have a caring nature and a desire to make a positive impact on residents’ lives. Prior experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant is desirable but not essential, as full training is provided. Candidates must be patient, understanding, and respectful of residents' individual abilities, especially as many residents live with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities.
