Lord Derby Academy is part of the Multi-Academy Dean Trust. The Dean Trust emphasises traditional education, excellent discipline and the instilling of respect. The motto “Believe, Achieve, Succeed” runs through all aspects of school life. The school was graded Good by Ofsted in June 2023 and is a well-regarded, oversubscribed school with a strong local reputation.

As a Teacher of English, you will be part of a vibrant, dedicated and ambitious team, contributing to the cross-curricular life of the school. The successful candidate will help drive the school forward as we continue to raise progress in key areas through high standards and expectations. The role requires Qualified Teacher Status. Enhanced DBS vetting procedures are required for all posts. The post starts as soon as possible and is suitable for ECTs or experienced teachers.
