We are seeking a Director of Volunteering to lead on all aspects of volunteer experience at the Step Up Network CIC, a network for new and aspiring leaders in education.

Person Specification
* Is experienced in human resources and / or volunteer management.
* Is a good communicator.
* Is a self-starter.
* Can work remotely.
* Experience of managing virtual events (desirable).
* Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Has a good level of written English.
* Good sense of humour.
* Has access to a computer and a good internet connection.
* Aligns to the values and mission of Step Up.
What will you be doing?
Role Purpose
* To provide effective organisational-level leadership for all aspects of people and volunteering including recruitment, volunteer experience and training.
Duties, Tasks And Responsibilities
* Developing and implementing a people and volunteering strategy, with the Social Enterprise Managing Director and Group CEO.
* Strategically leading on all aspects of people and volunteering within the organisation.
* Managing volunteer relations and experience including managing concerns and complaints around volunteers.
* Writing, implementation and review of people based policies.
* Strategically leading on organisational development, with the Social Enterprise Managing Director and Group CEO.

This is a remote role.

1-3 hours per week
