Lochgelly Support Practitioners
Full time contracts available – Female Only**
Earn up to £26,526.23 per year pro rata.
At Ark, all Support Practitioners are paid at least the Real Living Wage, currently £13.45 per hour (£25,947.47 pro rata). After successfully completing your probation period, your hourly rate increases to £13.75 (£26,526.23 pro rata).
The Lochgelly service currently provides care to 10 supported people who live in Lochgelly and the surrounding areas. Some live in their own homes while others stay with families. We support individuals through daily activities such as walks, finances, personal care, shopping, and community events.
Shifts range from 3 to 16 hours over 7 days. Travel links in and around Lochgelly include local bus routes and a train station. A support team will guide new staff.
Your main duties will include but not be limited to:
* Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
* Communicating and working well with supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
* Using responsibility to support individuals throughout their activities, providing positive feedback and encouragement.
