The Role
If you're an experienced Tanker Driver or Supervisor ready to move into management, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
The Role:
At GAP Group, our Tanker Services division provides a variety of waste services from small portable toilets to much larger industrial projects to our customers nationwide. Following significant growth, we are looking for a Regional Tanker Manager to join our expanding team – someone who's ready to lead from the front.
As a Regional Tanker Manager, you'll lead, motivate, and develop your team to deliver excellent customer service and drive operational performance across multiple depots.

A Day in the Life:
No two days are the same — and that's what makes this role exciting!
•You might start your morning checking in with depot teams, reviewing performance, and ensuring drivers are briefed and ready for the day.
•Later, you could be out visiting sites, supporting a new driver with training, or meeting customers to discuss upcoming projects.
•Afternoons might include reviewing costs, planning upcoming work with the logistics team, and making sure your region is running smoothly.
•It's a varied, rewarding role where your leadership directly impacts team success, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
About You

•Overseeing daily operations across your region and ensuring compliance with regulating bodies covering transport, environmental and health and safety.
•Training and developing 26t Tanker Drivers on the safe delivery of non-potable water and collection of liquid waste.
•Managing your own profit centres — influencing recruitment, training, purchasing, and customer growth.
•Supporting the team by covering driving duties when needed (for sickness, holidays, or busy periods).
Please note, this is a Regional position covering Whitehaven, Manchester, Leeds and Durham but as long as you can commute to these locations, we welcome applicants from anywhere in the North of England!
