We are looking for somebody with a passion for improving the lives of our customers, and a knowledge and commitment to improving the energy efficiency of our properties.
As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will be engaging with and influencing our residents to have energy efficiency measures installed in their homes.
You should be able to collaborate with our asset teams and our contractors to overcome issues, identify solutions and manage relationships.
Key Responsibilities: To engage with the customer and households of these properties, supporting them with their options for improvements by recording their experience, gathering information on their homes, lifestyle, comfort, and energy usage.
Provide effective support, both advisory and practical, to enable customers to make positive changes to their behaviour and to improve the quality of their lives in relation to energy saving and wellbeing.
Provide details of the process involved to determine what measures could be installed to improve the energy efficiency and comfort of their homes.
This role will be crucial in reassuring customers about how the process will work; adjusting to their circumstances, encouraging them to engage with the process.
Making customers aware of any additional grant schemes or funding available to them directly and assist with the grant applications if required.
Providing advice and signposting to available support where customers are having difficulties paying their energy bills.
Contact and build trust and rapport with each household; providing advice, gathering information and encouraging engagement with the process of determining energy efficiency works and signing-up to have works carried out.
During the works, acting as the resident liaison contact for customers and their households, working closely with the Programme Manager, Project Managers, consultants, contractors, and in-house teams to ensure the customers are supported during the work stage and at handover of the completed works.
This will include undertaking satisfaction surveys on completion of works and identify improvements in the customer experience.
You will provide energy efficiency advice, collect information about the customers lifestyle and energy usage.
What Were Looking For Must haves: Previous experience of working in a customer facing role.
Passionate about engaging with people and providing great customer service.
Great people skills, friendly, approachable and with excellent insight and communication skills.
Competent IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel) including working with databases and generating reports.
A full driving licence (preferably clean) and car.
This position will involve visiting customers in their homes and attending resident meetings.
Able to perform hands on and administrative duties such as data input completion of relevant paperwork, ensuring these are completed to a high standard.
Ability to adhere to the organisations health, safety and welfare policies and procedures.
Nice to haves: Previous experience of giving energy efficiency advice would be an advantage, however, if this is new to you a willingness to learn would be an advantage.
