About the role
The Snr Regulatory Manager – R&D Wellness is responsible for executing regulatory strategies that support innovation, development, and lifecycle management of wellness products. This role partners closely with R&D, Quality, Medical and Commercial teams to ensure compliance while enabling agile delivery of science‑led consumer healthcare solutions.
Responsibilities
- Execute regulatory strategies for wellness product development and lifecycle management.
- Lead preparation and submission of regulatory dossiers, including new product registrations, variations, and renewals.
- Advise cross‑functional teams on regulatory pathways, risks, and requirements during product development.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of labeling, claims, and marketing materials for wellness products.
- Monitor evolving regulatory requirements and implement necessary changes within project and business activities.
- Support responses to regulatory queries, inspections, and audits as required.
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate regulatory considerations early in product design and development.
- Support analytical, clinical, and scientific substantiation strategies aligned with regulatory expectations.
- Enable innovation by identifying efficient regulatory pathways and supporting faster time to market.
- Strategic thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Business expertise: awareness of the competitive and regulatory landscape for VMS & DH products and ability to apply that knowledge when assessing new product opportunities and claims.
- Maintain an external network of regulatory experts for the category.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Significant experience in Regulatory Affairs within R&D or product development.
- Prior experience in consumer health, wellness, or OTC product categories preferred.
