The Role
My client, a leading utilities contractor, is recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a long-term water framework. This role sits within a high-performing commercial team and focuses on cost control, commercial reporting and subcontractor management across high-volume works.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with utilities, civils or water industry experience looking for stability, long-term frameworks and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Weekly cost & value / CVR reporting
* Pricing and valuing high-volume, low-value works
* Preparing and managing Schedules of Rates
* Subcontractor cost reconciliation and payment certificates
* Managing daily completed works submissions
* Monitoring progress, variations and scope changes
* Attending WIP meetings with operations and clients
* Supporting commercial performance and profitability
About You
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within utilities, civils or water
* Experience working on high-volume frameworks
* Strong knowledge of NEC contracts
* Subcontractor management experience
* Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP)
* Proactive, commercially aware and detail focused
Desirable
* Degree in Quantity Surveying
* OR HNC/HND in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
