Bolton Council is seeking an experienced Adults Social Worker to join the South Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). This ongoing full-time locum role offers a competitive hourly rate of £30.00 and a hybrid working pattern, including one day per week working from home. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner with a strong background in adult mental health to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team while managing complex and rewarding casework.

What you will do
* Care Planning: Assess needs and develop person-centred care plans for adults with complex mental health conditions.
* Multidisciplinary Working: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver holistic mental health support.
* Safeguarding: Undertake safeguarding assessments and interventions to ensure service user safety.
* Caseload Management: Manage a diverse caseload effectively, maintaining high standards of practice.
* Partnership Working: Liaise with families, carers, and external agencies to deliver coordinated care.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
* Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
* ASYE completed within 2 years of qualification.
* At least 2 years’ experience within a Mental Health Team (Older Adults CMHT experience desirable).
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Ability to provide 3 years of employment references with no unexplained gaps.
