Financial Controller Ideal Profile:
Part-qualified finance professional, AAT Level 3 or above
Experienced in producing financial and management accounts within a growing business environment
Comfortable leading on process improvement and system automation
Able to mentor, support and develop a small accounts team
Effective communicator who can confidently liaise with stakeholders
Ambitious, hands-on and motivated by ownership and autonomy
Financial Controller Responsibilities:
Overseeing the production of monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements
Managing budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
Leading VAT returns, reconciliations and compliance reporting
Supporting strategic decision-making through financial insights and analysis
Partnering with external stakeholders including accountants, insurers and banks
Driving process improvements and contributing to commercial growth strategies
