Overview
Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our defence client, who is seeking a Commercial Officer for an initial twelve-month assignment with the option to extend.
Location: Hybrid working - Fareham or Salisbury
Responsibilities
* Lead competitive or single source procurements and sourcing activities, including development of invitations to tender or negotiate, including complex contracts requiring non-standard pricing conditions or bespoke terms and conditions.
* Support the commercial process through negotiations and contractual documentation for complex arrangements.
Qualifications & Experience
* Active SC or DV clearance
* Strong background in delivery Commercial support
* Experience across sourcing, procurement and contract management activities
* Identifying the most suitable commercial approach to the circumstances
* Understanding and applying tools to monitor supplier performance, cost analysis, and contract related management information systems
* Research & Development Category experience. (Desirable)
