The Administration Assistant is an integral member of the quality team for Radiology and will be working with the teams to achieve accreditation of our clinical services, within our community diagnostic centres. We are looking for administrators to work with us on 12 month fixed term contracts and we will consider secondments and job sharing. The role is based at the James Paget University Hospital, Gorleston, underpinned by the wider remit of the speciality clinical imaging network (SCN). This operates across the three trusts, Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) and James Paget University Hospital (JPUH). The role reports to the Accreditation Lead at the JPUH and is professionally responsible to the N&W CDC Quality/Accreditation Lead. The post holder will coordinate defined administration task to support the Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC) preparation to undertake accreditation of all 3 centres. This will include coordinating workstreams.
Responsibilities
* Provide full clerical administrative support to Accreditation and QSI Lead.
* Draft and send out agendas, take formal minutes or notes of meetings and collate action points adding these to the relevant action log. Meetings to include accreditation Workstream and Task & Finish Groups plus any additional meetings in support of accreditation operational objectives.
* Act as a point of contact for the Accreditation Lead and Radiology QSI lead via telephone and email, filtering, prioritising and dealing with problems, questions or queries.
* Organise meetings at the request of the Lead and check attendance responses, chasing invitees to ensure meeting quoracy.
* Assist the Lead with the management of project tasks; requesting and collating documents in advance of meetings or in preparation for new tasks, chasing requests for documents in a timely manner so as not to delay the project.
