We are seeking a caring, resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our specialist primary setting for children with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Our school provides a nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, build trusting relationships, and thrive both academically and emotionally.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Providing one-to-one and small-group support to children with a range of mental health and behavioural needs
* Helping pupils regulate emotions, build coping strategies, and develop positive routines
* Working closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to deliver personalised learning
* Creating a calm, safe and structured environment that supports pupils’ wellbeing
* Encouraging independence, resilience, and positive social interaction

* A genuine passion for supporting children with SEMH needs
* Experience in a school or mental-health setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
