We are seeking a compassionate and committed Teaching Assistant to provide SEND support across a primary and secondary all-through SEND school in Peterborough. This is a temporary role with an immediate start, ideal for someone passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.

Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group SEND support across primary and/or secondary phases
* Support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
* Help pupils access the curriculum through tailored support, clear routines, and differentiated activities
* Support emotional regulation, engagement, and positive behaviour
* Work closely with teachers, SEND staff, and pastoral teams to implement support strategies and EHCP targets
* Promote independence, confidence, and self-esteem in pupils
* Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times
Requirements
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND (school-based or relevant transferable experience)
* A patient, calm, and consistent approach to supporting behaviour and learning
* Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
* Understanding of inclusive practice and safeguarding responsibilities
* Flexibility and confidence working across both primary and secondary age groups
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
