SEND TA – Candidates Willing to Travel to Peterlee
Live a little further out but happy to travel? We’re working with a fantastic specialist setting near Peterlee that’s looking for warm, patient SEND TAs who love helping pupils grow in confidence.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys routine, teamwork, and supporting children with additional needs in a calm, structured environment.
Your day may involve:
• Supporting pupils with communication, sensory needs or learning delays
• Helping pupils navigate the day calmly and confidently
• Using visuals, prompts and creative learning approaches
• Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who need nurturing adults
We’d love to hear from you if:
• You’ve worked in SEND before, or you’re keen to learn
• You’re reliable, caring and patient
• You’re comfortable with personal care (if required)
• You’re motivated by small steps and big smiles

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
