To support our growth, The Glasgow School for Business and Society (GSBS) and its Department of Finance, Accounting, and Risk (FAR) seek to appoint a Lecturer in Accounting with a specialization in Finance, Business Analytics, and AI. The role involves delivering high-quality education, conducting research, and developing curricula that integrate traditional accounting and finance with emerging technological capabilities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in accounting, finance, analytical methods, and AI applications in business, with a commitment to using data analysis to support decision-making.
Applicants should possess a PhD or be near completion, or an equivalent higher qualification, with relevant subject-area qualifications and teaching experience. Industry experience is advantageous, and candidates with extensive industry backgrounds demonstrating teaching and research potential are encouraged to apply. A higher education teaching qualification and/or Fellow status with AdvanceHE is desirable.
