Your new role
As an Estimator, youll play a pivotal role in the pre-construction process, working closely with a collaborative team. Youll be responsible for:
* Reviewing incoming enquiries and tender documentation
* Responding to customer queries and clarifying project requirements
* Performing accurate take-offs from architectural drawings
* Interpreting and understanding complex drawing packages
* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
* Understanding and compiling PI (Performance Information) packages
* Pulling together full tender submissions and issuing them on time
* Supporting the team in pre-contract meetings and negotiations
What are they looking for?
Youll be detail-oriented, commercially aware, and confident working with drawings and technical documents. A background in faades or building envelopes is ideal, but not essential what matters most is your ability to read between the lines, extract key information, and deliver accurate costings.
* Proven experience in estimating, ideally in commercial or residential construction
* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Experience with take-offs and supplier engagement
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A proactive, team-first mindset
