Remedy International Medical are working with an established hospital in Bermuda, which is a British Overseas Territory to recruit a qualified, highly motivated, and experienced Clinical Dietician to work in a supportive but demanding environment.

Responsibilities:
* Serving as nutrition consultant to the health care team(s) and providing direct and indirect nutrition care to patients
* Identifying and assessing patients that are at nutritional risk, patients on therapeutic diets and patients with complex medical conditions for individual needs
* Monitoring patient’s progress for efficacy of nutritional intervention, provides reassessment of nutritional status, and adjusts nutrition care plan according to established protocols
* Providing counselling and education to patients/significant others regarding drug-nutrient interactions, nutrition intervention or therapeutic diets as appropriate.
* Responding to nutrition Consults from physicians and the health care team and initiates the nutrition care process
* Promoting the team approach through participation in patient care rounds and discharge planning meetings
Qualifications
* Bachelor or Masters of Science from an accredited University with a major in Nutrition/Dietetics with a minimum of one-year post internship experience in a clinical hospital setting, within the past three years
* Local registration to practice with the Council for Allied Health Professions (CAHP) and meet all re-registration requirements
* Must demonstrate ability to provide independent clinical nutrition care services to a wide range of patients with simple to very complex medical nutritional therapy
* Commitment to clinical standards of care, personal and professional growth, and improvement of Dietetic services within the hospital
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; liaison with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
* Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
