Job Description
4Site are seeking experienced and professional ECS Gold Electricians (installers/approved/technicians) to join our client, who services Thames Water pump sites. The Electrician will hold a technical role within the company and should set examples of excellent conduct and professionalism. For individual projects, they will report to the assigned Project Manager; however, depending on experience, they may be expected to accept ownership of certain lower-valued contracts.
This role requires the ability to effectively liaise with internal staff (both senior and junior) and external clients/contractors in a polite, professional, and courteous manner, providing electrical/controls technical support across multiple projects company-wide. The candidate will be working on large Thames Water pump sites, maintaining and operating the systems, switchboards, etc. VAN/UNIFORM/FUEL CARD will be supplied.
Accountabilities
1. Carry out electrical installation work to BS7671.
2. Perform installation, service, and repair of various low voltage electrical control systems.
3. Install and commission instrumentation systems, including pressure, levels, temperature, and flow.
4. Occasionally lead a working party and be responsible for lesser-skilled employees, demonstrating sound knowledge of Health & Safety and leadership skills.
5. Carry out testing and inspection of electrical installations, providing satisfactory documentation as required by the Company’s nominated certifying body (NICEIC, ECA, etc.).
6. Provide written technical reports and other documentation as required by senior engineering professionals.
7. Be PC literate and demonstrate basic IT skills.

* Full electrical qualifications
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* JIB Gold Card
* CG2391-52 Testing and Inspecting

* Ability to organise and manage time effectively
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Good PC literacy
* Ability to work well with other teams within the company
* Water industry experience (not essential)
