You will be working for one of the UK's premier providers of M&E Building Services Solutions. An M&E specialist, for over 20 years they have been delivering complex mechanical and electrical installations across diverse sectors, handling design, installation, commissioning, and lifecycle support.
With an impressive client book of national organisations, and projects across the UK spanning commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors, they are now looking for a Building Services Manager to join them on their journey.
The Building Services Manager oversees the design, installation, and maintenance of essential building systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, security, lifts) ensuring quality, compliance, and cost-efficiency. Working with construction teams and clients, the role focuses on coordinating designs, value engineering, and ensuring all installations meet regulatory and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
* Reviews installation plans, specifications, and prices to ensure they meet building and client requirements while maintaining cost-efficiency.
* Advises design teams on service coordination within the overall building design and ensures all installations comply with building regulations and health and safety requirements.
* Attends client and management meetings to present progress reports and advise on building services operation while minimizing environmental impact through energy-efficient solutions.
Necessary experience:
* Good knowledge of M&E (with understanding of design)
* Good organisational skills
* Design or co-ordination experience
* Electrical or Mechanical qualification
