Job Title: SENDCO (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced SENDCO to lead and develop our provision for children with special educational needs and disabilities.
The Role
As our SENDCO, you will:
* Champion inclusive education and support children with a range of needs to achieve their best outcomes.
* Coordinate and oversee all SEND provision across the school.
* Work closely with teachers, parents, external agencies, and the senior leadership team to ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and support.
* Identify pupils’ needs and ensure personalised support plans are effectively implemented and reviewed.
* Lead and manage a dedicated team of teaching assistants and support staff.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* National Award for SEN Coordination (or be working towards it).
* A strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice.
* Experience of working with children with a range of SEND in a primary school setting.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* A child-centred approach and commitment to inclusive practice.
