The Role: To lead the Network & Security Services team, this provides the physical network infrastructure and telephony services to the University. To work with internal customers to ensure that the network service is responsive and continues to meet the University needs. To work with external suppliers to ensure a high quality and high availability network and telephony service is maintained and continuously improved. To contribute to the University's long term voice and data strategies. The role holder is responsible for managing resources effectively, liaising with project managers and business stakeholders to ensure that objectives can be met without compromising services to staff and students. The role holder plays a key role within the Library and Information Services Applications containing evidence of paid or third-party services, artificially generated, or misleading content will be immediately disqualified from our recruitment process Location Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role.
