Injection Moulding Machine Maintenance Engineer

We're looking for a skilled and proactive Injection Moulding Machine Maintenance Engineer to help keep our high-performance manufacturing operations running smoothly to minimise downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our injection moulding machines and associated equipment are operating at peak performance. Your day-to-day will include:
* Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on injection moulding machines, robotics, and ancillary systems.
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults.
* Conducting scheduled servicing and calibration to meet safety and compliance standards.
* Responding swiftly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and ensure fast resolution.
* Collaborating with production teams to enhance machine performance and resolve recurring issues.
* Supporting equipment installation, commissioning, and decommissioning.
* Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, spare part usage and breakdown history.
* Upholding health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives, including machinery upgrades/modifications.
* Liaising with external suppliers and contractors for specialist support.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone with hands-on experience and a problem-solving mindset. Ideally, you'll have:
* 3–5 years' experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
* Proven background in injection moulding or plastics manufacturing.
* Familiarity with robotics and automations systems.
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.
* Experience with robotics and automation systems.
* Solid skills in fault finding, root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
* Good IT and accurate record-keeping skills.
