Job Opportunity: Employee Relations Case Manager

Catalyst Partners are working with a multinational, matrix organisation to recruit an experienced Employee Relations Case Manager. The Role
As an Employee Relations Case Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes. You’ll partner with HR teams, line managers, and legal advisors to support a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on complex ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management.
* Provide expert guidance to managers and HR colleagues on ER policies, procedures, and employment law.
* Ensure consistency in ER case handling across a matrix structure.
* Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to manage risk and ensure policy alignment.
* Identify ER trends and contribute to proactive people strategies.
* Support the development of ER capability across the business through coaching and training.
* Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation in line with GDPR and internal standards.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong experience in an ER advisory or case management role, ideally within a matrix or multi-site organisation.
* In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion.
* CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
